Profile
Columbus Pest Control was founded in 1946 when Joseph J. Mooney returned from WWII. He soon became a member of two highly recognized organizations: the National Pest Control Association and the Ohio Pest Control Association where he served as President in 1958.
Several years later, Joseph met his business partner, Orlando Alonso, and together they worked to building the reputation and experience behind Columbus Pest Control as a commercial and residential service and retail store. Upon Joseph’s death, Orlando purchased the business in 1971. He became the President of the Ohio Pest Control Association and was active participant when the pesticide laws were passed in the 1970’s. This law is still in effect today and has since been amended.
