Of all the improvements you can make to your home, a swimming pool is probably the most dramatic… it doesn’t just enhance the value of your property, it enhances the quality of your life. The most common questions people ask when considering a pool are, “how big should it be?”, “how deep?”, “what shape should it be?” and “where should we put it?” As important as these questions are, the key question is, “who should I trust to build it?”
Of course, I think the answer to that question should be me! Over the years, a number of my clients have asked me, “how in world did you ever decide to become a pool contractor?” Good question! After all, it’s not exactly the type of career a kid decides on when he’s a little boy! It is when it’s in the family. You see my dad was a pool builder. As teenagers my brother and I where his crew. Of course he wanted better for us so he sent us or I better say advised us to join the Navy. So we did. And he went on with the pool business. Sad to say when we where in training he passed away. Long story short… we got discharged and we finished the jobs he had started. He was a great man.
