At Bark Place Hotel & Pet Grooming, we live in the back of the house, and along with boarding, we run a full-service grooming shop out of the front of the house. There is always an owner present onsite.
Smaller dogs prefer a limited amount of space, and they certainly do not want to be locked in an “individual suite.” The limited space gives them a feeling of comfort. This is especially important for small breeds.
Because of our size, we can only accept dogs that are neither aggressive in their nature, nor large in their size. There are some size exceptions to this rule, and they are usually larger dogs that live with small dogs and have respect for their space. There is never an exception for aggressive dogs.
