Why we do what we do.
Insurance companies provide coverage through a contract to indemnify homeowners in the event of a loss, but provide their adjusters with “Best Practices” to follow when they adjust a claim. These best practices often limit adjusters in creating estimates that reflect the true cost to restore properties to their pre-loss condition, as agreed. The result is that homeowners receive less than they need to have their home or property fully restored. This process can leave insureds with no other choice than to shop around and get bids from the cheapest contractors; and without proper representation your home may never be restored to its original charm.
We find this unacceptable.
As prior adjusters, we at Blue Peaks Roofing witnessed first-hand the many times property owners were forced to compromise on the quality of their repairs in order to fit within a narrow restoration budget.
