Mechanical Refrigeration Inc. began operation as a contractor in the Winter Haven Florida area. Edward Jarvis, wife Dorothy and sons Rick and Eddie, set up the company. The business grew to the families satisfaction and more room was needed. The move was made to a larger facility. The business became a very solid base and in 1997 the company purchased a 17,000 square foot office/warehouse building in Winter Haven and began a division of MRI for specialty product manufacturing.
