Old Meadow Kennels is owned by Ron and Deborah Prince. We are located about 10 miles outside of Charlotte N.C. in a small town of Midland. We offer boarding facilities, field/gundog training and obedience training. We have been training dogs since 1993 when Ron decided that he needed a dog for duck and goose hunting. I had bred and trained Cocker Spainiels for many years and decided that it was time for a new venture. We both bought puppies and got involved with a local retriever club and after competing in our first hunt test we were hooked. Between Ron and I we have titled numerous dogs in AKC, UKC and NAHRA events at all levels. All of our dogs compete in Obedience Trials, Hunt Test and Field Trials and are all Therapy dogs. We now spend many weekends traveling N.C, S.C, TN, VA, GA, and FL, competing in AKC, UKC Hunt Test and Field Trials. We are both licensed in all levels to judge AKC and UKC Hunt Test and Field Trials, so when we are not running dogs, we are judging them.
