Pembroke Pumping Services (PPS) is a family owned and operated septic and portable toilet company established in 1971. The founders, Bill and Judy Coffey, now share responsibilities with the second and third generation family members, and all are committed to providing quality, friendly services at an affordable price. All members of the Coffey Family have graduated from Danbury High School and have been proud and productive members of the greater Danbury Community. We have worked hard to gain success and believe in giving back to the community accordingly. We began in 1971 first as Pembroke Variety Store where you could get a delicious breakfast, snacks for the day and a septic cleaning all at the same place. We created a large and dedicated customer base at that variety store, many of whom are still septic customers many years later. We began with 1 septic truck and 1 hard working, driven employee. Eventually, the variety store closed down to focus on the septic business and our office subsequently moved to Padanaram Road, where we grew over a 10 year period into a fully staffed, multi‐faceted septic and portable toilet company. In 1985 we moved to our present location at 45 Beaver Brook Road, Danbury where we continued to expand our services and products to meet the growing demands and needs of our customers.
