TAPS Termite was established in 1969 by a husband and wife team, John & Shirley Clark. John had many years of experience as a termite inspector and enough money to buy a small truck to perform inspections. Shirley typed the reports in the “office” which was located at the end of the kitchen in their home. In those days, the reports were 7 page carbon snap-outs typed on a manual typewriter.
